Safety

We are big on safety and do not leave things to chance.

  • Each dog in our care is transported in their own separate transit cage. Purpose built, crash tested and made to last. Easier to clean than complete metal crates ensuring cross contamination between dogs is reduced.

  • Clean bedding changed regularly. We use vet bed for its absorbent, cooling, soft and easy clean abilities.

  • Access to fresh water, each cage has fresh, clean water available.

  • Temperature controlled environment, whatever the weather, your dog can rest during transit in a safe and controllable environment. Air con and roof ventilation.

  • Van carries a fully stocked and in date first aid kit for dogs. Whatever happens. A compact version is taken on walks with us too just in case.

  • ID tags with “Air tags” included. Each dog in our care wears an ID tag with our details on and an air tag. Simply to maximize their safe return should the worst happen and they bolt from the group.

  • Van hose, mud ready! Imagine a garden hose, but from the van. We have the ability to hose your dog down at the roadside before they even get in the van, let alone return home. Your dog will be rinsed and dried as much as necessary, what happens on the walk can stay off your sofa.

  • Clean towels, we use fresh, clean towels and as many as we need. Changed per dog and refreshed as often as needed.

While out walking

Sometimes taking risks can be fun, but not when it comes to caring for your dog.

  • We use our own leads, that way we know they are safe and suitable for the demands of walking day after day. We also carry more than we need, just in case of malfunction or emergency need like coming across a lost dog.

  • We use treats, positive and reward based basic methods to keep your dog engaged, enriched and tummies happy while out playing and exploring. These are tailored to dietary needs.

  • Poo bags, an endless supply is always on hand and disposed of appropriately.

  • ID tags and "air tags” used for peace of mind.

  • First Aid kit, a compact version, but everything we need to keep your dog safe and well while in our care.

  • Photos, everyone loves a snap of what their dog has been up to.

  • Each walk is tracked with GPS and shared with the client. That way you know how far, how long and where your dog has been with us.

  • 60 minute minimum, from locking the van to unlocking it at the end. You pay for the walk, not the van time.
